Nearly 500,000 free meals distributed to local residents since start of We All Eat program

The Texas Black Expo announces that Fort Bend County has awarded an additional $5 million to its We All Eat program, which provides meals to those in need from local restaurants. This latest award puts a total funding amount of the program at $10.4 million. To date, nearly 500,000 free meals have been distributed to families in Fort Bend County via the program, a rate that is expected to nearly double by the end of the year.

Secrets revealed! Lifetime announced today a multi-picture deal with award-winning actress Angie Harmon to executive produce, direct and star for the network. Currently in development, Angie will executive produce movie projects, tentatively titled under the umbrella Barstow, where she will star as a single mother/diner owner whose very dark past keeps coming back to haunt her, despite her desire for a quiet life. As part of the deal, in addition to producing, Harmon will also be directing two original titles to be determined for Lifetime. Barstow hails from writer/executive producer Thompson Evans.
