On April 24, 2024, Houston’s City Hall was the focal point of community and service as the Mayor's Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony unfolded, bringing together civic leaders and dedicated citizens to celebrate the indomitable spirit of volunteerism in Houston. This annual event, hosted by the Department of Neighborhoods (DON) in collaboration with Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IMGH), featured heartfelt commendations and acknowledgments from some of the city's top officials.
