General Motors to Temporarily Suspend Production

(NYSE: GM) confirmed it will begin a systematic orderly suspension of manufacturing operations in North America due to market conditions, to deep clean facilities and continue to protect people. Supreme Court To Consider Granting Emergency Relief to NYC Teachers Denied Religious Accommodation From Vaccine Mandate

The United States Supreme Court will consider a legal challenge to New York City’s vaccine mandate from educators who were denied religious exemptions to vaccination. Earlier this month, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who oversees emergency appeals from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, rejected the appeal without comment.

More children living with uncertainty about whether they’ll have enough nutritious food to eat will be fed thanks to the Houston Food Bank and its new, state-of-the-art production kitchen. Construction is complete on the new 10,000 square-foot Keegan Kitchen, housed within the Food Bank’s headquarters/warehouse east of downtown. Production of nutritious hot meals for delivery to school-aged children at after-school and summer program sites is underway.
