Houston has swiftly grown to one of the largest cities for women entrepreneurs. Some of the top small businesses are owned by “Girl Bosses”. The owners of Girl Boss Suites Co-working space are hosting the inaugural Girl Boss Awards to celebrate some of Houston’s most elite and hard working women in business. Since the top of the summer, Houstonians have submitted their choice of women that should be honored during the first Girls Boss Awards. Voting ends early August and the official selections will be announced Mid-August. Those that are selected will have the opportunity to be honored on September 2nd during the event at The Post Oak Hilton during a red carpet affair.

In addition to the honorees that are selected by their peers, there will also be several leading ladies of Houston that will receive awards for their hard work. Those honorees include, Marketing Guru, Business Coach, and Philanthropist, Twiler Portis and Mother/Daughter Boutique Owners, Authors, and Mentors Martha E. of IMarE Boutique & Iceland Robinson of The Icee Collection. These ladies were selected by the visionaries of Girl Boss Awards for excelling in their industries.
