Tour to make over 100 stops throughout Texas and surrounding areas in 2018
The Astros announced today that the Astros Championship Trophy Tour presented by Mattress Firm will ceremonially kick off on Monday, Jan. 8 at Houston’s City Hall, located at 901 Bagby St. in downtown at 10:30 a.m. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Astros President of Business Operations Reid Ryan and Mattress Firm President and CEO Ken Murphy will be on-hand at the private media event to celebrate the launch of the tour.

The best team in baseball for 2017 is your Houston Astros. This is the same team that at one point during the regular season in 2013 had a 14-million-dollar payroll on the field. They were the running joke of Major League Baseball for losing more than 100 games for three straight seasons and were nicknamed the “Lastros” by some fans.
