The Houston Sauce Pit (HSP), the city’s first Vegan BBQ Food Truck, is adding more “Pit Stops” to its roving schedule each week!

The Houston Sauce Pit truck, which has become a regular Thursday night staple at 4402 Emancipation Blvd, is adding more hours and Houston locations to its roaming pop-up BBQ route.

Today, from 12pm-8pm and tomorrow (March 12) from 12pm-3pm Houston Sauce Pit Truck will be offering its 100% Vegan BBQ menu at 4819 Almeda Road.

Tomorrow night from 6:30pm-10:30pm, and Saturday (March 14) from 12:30pm-2:30pm they’ll be open at their regular weekly stop at 4402 Emancipation Blvd.

This weekend, they’ll be serving up their meatless BBQ creations on Friday night (March 13) at Astral Brewing (4816 N. Shepherd Drive) from 5:30pm-10pm, and on Saturday (March 14) at Big Star Bar (1005 W. 19th Street) from 7:30pm-12am!

Houston Sauce Co.’s Jarrett Milton and Courtney Lindsey, who co-own the HSP Vegan BBQ Truck, have been winning over carnivores with their delicious all-vegan BBQ dishes since they launched the truck in January this year. Milton said more than 60% of their customers are not vegan!

The Truck features a full menu of hand-crafted meatless barbecue dishes that taste like real Texas barbecue including items like Loaded Brisket Mac (bed of mac & cheese topped with vegan brisket), Smoked Links, BBQ Smoked Wangs, Loaded Potatoes, Chopped Veef and Smoked Link “Sammiches” and sides like Mac N’ Cheese, Potato Salad, BBQ Baked Beans, Pit Chips, Brussel Sprouts w/”Bakon”, and BBQ Smoked Loaded Elote (corn on the cob)!

BBQ and vegan fans can track the additional locations and hours daily by following Houston Sauce Pit via Instagram (@houstonsaucepit) to see where the Truck will be appearing next. The Houston Sauce Pit Vegan BBQ Truck is also available for private bookings.
