While working as a National features correspondent at Houston Style Magazine, Ms. Briscoe
is known to have formulated strategic partnerships with the following corporate brands and
organizations such as: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, NBA, NASCAR, HBO Sports, NFL,
ESPN, Sundance, and BET to name a few. Making history is simply not an option, it's
expected where Rebecca's due diligence allowed Houston Style Magazine to be the first minority publication
ever to cover the ESPY's since the awards show 20 year inception. Beauty may be in the
eyes of the beholder, but the former Ebony Fashion Fair model's credentials are just as
impressive where she holds a BS in Education from LSU, a Masters in Public Administration
from TSU's Barbara Jordan/Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs, and most recently
acquiring a post graduate certificate in Homeland Security from the Bush School of
Government and Public Service at Texas A & M University. Her most recent accolade
was being awarded one of the Top 25 Women of Houston for her hard work, discipline
and diligence.
Her relentless drive has been instrumental in allowing Houston Style Magazine to continuously
break barriers while still giving back to today's youth as a Certified educator with extensive
experience from early childhood to being the youngest adjunct professor in her department at
Houston Community College.
