For the first time since 1939, there will be no men’s champion in NCAA postseason, also a first for women since the NCAA began hosting that tournament in 1981-82. There also won’t be any spring sports (baseball, track & field, softball, etc.) in high school or college athletics this year. It affects the high school seniors the most because those who participate in spring sports lost their senior seasons to showcase their talents that could have earned them a college scholarship.

Rice announces tuition for 2020-21 school year
Rice University’s undergraduate tuition for the 2020-21 school year will be $50,310, an increase of $1,980 over the current year. The total cost, including $14,500 for room and board and $797 in mandatory fees, will increase 3.7% to $65,607.

Governor Abbott Waives Certain Licensing Renewal Regulations, Fees For Nurses
Governor Greg Abbott has waived certain regulations from the Texas Board of Nursing regarding licensing renewal and subsequent fees for nurses in Texas. The Governor's waiver authorizes a six-month grace period for nurses with expired licenses. This grace period will allow nurses who are otherwise in good standing to continue practicing and will give them additional time to renew their license without added fees and penalties.
