A United States District Court judge dismissed the lawsuit which challenged the Texas voter ID law, announced Attorney General Ken Paxton. The 2017 Texas voter ID law (SB 5) cleared its final hurdle when the Fifth Circuit honored a request made last month by the opponents of the state’s voter ID law to dismiss any remaining claims since the matter was settled and there was nothing left to pursue in this case.

The Colour of Music Festival is scheduled to run from September 12 through the 16th at the UH Dudley Recital Hall. The Festival will feature full classical performances in organ, piano, vocal, chamber and orchestral works.

Actor Tom Arnold is accusing reality producer and MGM Television Chairman Mark Burnett of attacking him at a pre-Emmys party Sunday night. Arnold filed a police report for battery on Monday morning, LAPD Officer Jeff Lee told CNN. Arnold also sent CNN's Sara Sidner a text about the alleged altercation, writing of Burnett, "He's a psycho."
