Statement Game 2: Texans head to Baltimore for a tough AFC matchup against the Ravens
Over a month ago the Houston Texans were faced with a very difficult situation. They had to go into hostile territory and defeat a team that is one of the perennial favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Houston defeated the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 31 – 24 in Arrowhead Stadium to make a statement to the rest of the NFL that they wanted a say in that representation of the division.

Bye week comes just in time for the Texans to get healthy.
The Houston Texans sit atop of the AFC South with a 6-3 record after going “Across the Pond” to defeat their divisional foe in the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-3. Houston is on a bye this week and it comes at a time when they need it most with all the injuries they have on both sides of the ball.

Governor Abbott Appoints Eight To Rehabilitation Council Of Texas
Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Lonny Matthew “Matt” Berend, JoAnne Fluke, Paul Hunt, and Crystal Stark to the Rehabilitation Council of Texas for terms set to expire on October 29, 2021, and Cheryl Fuller for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Additionally, he appointed Colton J. Read, Lisa Cowart, and Joseph “Joe” Powell for terms set to expire on October 29, 2021. Governor Abbott Appoints Harper To Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Harper Holland as the presiding officer of the Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority for a term set to expire on February 1, 2021. The regional mobility authority is a political subdivision that allows local transportation planning and project delivery leaders to partner with the state to deliver transportation infrastructure projects that will serve Lamar, Delta, and Hunt Counties.
